My CrossFit journey began 13 years ago when I first walked through the doors of CrossFit Tri-County. At the time, I was running daily and dealing with constant knee and hip pain. I wanted to build strength, but I knew I didn’t want to return to a traditional gym setting. I was looking for something more effective, supportive, and sustainable.
My CrossFit path hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been winding—but it has always led me back to CFTC. Along the way, I faced several challenges, including two knee surgeries from an old skiing accident. At another point, I stepped away to pursue a 200-hour yoga certification with a focus on mobility work. That experience deepened my understanding of body awareness, movement, and long-term joint health, all of which I bring into my coaching today.
The most rewarding part of CFTC is our incredible community. Every day, for one hour, people from all walks of life—different ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels—come together to work hard, support one another, and grow stronger.
Outside of the gym, I work full-time as a graphic designer for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. In my free time, you’ll find me in my garden, sharing funny memes with my son who’s away at college, or spending quality time with my boyfriend and our house full of pets.
I believe fitness should be enjoyable and accessible to everyone. You’re never too old to start CrossFit, and you don’t need an athletic background to begin. My goal is to create a supportive, welcoming environment where every athlete can thrive, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of.
