Monday, September 10 – Garam Masala Beef Bowl

GARAM MASALA BEEF BOWL

Ingredients
2lbs of Grass-fed ground beef
1 large sweet potato
4oz of shiitake mushrooms
2 carrots
2 medium onions
A few crowns of broccoli
1 yellow squash
Crushed black pepper to taste
3 tbsp Garam Masala seasoning
3 tbsp Olive oil
1/8 c Water Avocado

Directions
Chop onions & cube the sweet potato & carrots. Sauté in olive oil on medium heat for 5 minutes. Chop remaining vegetables and add, along with water. Stir, cover, and cook for 5 minutes. Add ground beef, black pepper, and Garam masala seasoning. Stir, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes. Continue to break up ground beef. Stir again. Let it cook until beef and veggies are at desired tenderness. Scoop into bowl & top with avocado. Makes approximately 4 servings.
